Jewelry Styling Tips Vol.1

When we speak of mix and match or fashion styling, the first thing that comes to mind is probably more clothing coordination or total look. How about jewelries. Do you mix and match them to make a statement?

The answer is absolutely YES! While of course jewelry is part of your total look, mix and match with different jewelries can create a statement by itself. Here are some examples:

1) Necklace/bracelet layering

Whether you're a seasoned stylist or just starting out, layering is likely a familiar concept. While in clothing we layer with texture, color, and length, these rules generally apply to jewelry layering as well. Here are a few key tips to remember:

  1. Keep it concise. Aim for 3- 4 pieces at most, unless you're making a statement with an abundance of layers.
  2. Balance is key.Play with the width and thickness of your pieces. Avoid stacking chunky necklaces or bracelets together.
  3. Embrace the power of chains.Different pendant lengths are great for layering necklaces, but chains themselves are amazing for creating a subtle yet sophisticated look on both necklaces and bracelets.

2) Stacking rings

The general rule of stacking rings follows the same principle we discussed earlier: choose rings with different textures and thicknesses. Feel free to be bolder! When you want to make a statement with your hands, don't be afraid to wear more rings at once. One last tip: don't forget your pinky finger! Our designers love adding a thin band there for a touch of femininity.

3) Introducing ear cuffs

Ear cuffs have exploded in popularity in recent years, adding an edgy touch when paired with earrings. If you're using smaller ear cuffs, consider stacking a few with different textures for a dynamic look. However, if your earrings are statement pieces or you want to feature a large ear cuff, keep the focus on one piece at a time, either the earring or the cuff. Adding colorful gemstones to your ear cuffs can also inject a playful touch into your look.

We hope you enjoyed today's jewelry styling tips! Don't forget to get creative and mix and match your pieces for unique weekend looks.
